It is a super silane compatibiliser which can be used in mineral-filled and peroxide-crosslinked cable systems. Its silicon-functional ethoxy groups hydrolyse in the filler surface results in improved mechanical and electrical properties, especially upon exposure to moisture. Also it can be used in filler and pigment treatment, dispersions, halogen-free, non-toxic, environmentally flame retardant compounds.
